At Jacquesson, there is no hesitation in ageing their cuvees for the time deemed necessary for their best expression, before offering them for sale. The 700 series cuvee (which started with n ° 728 on the basis of wines from the year 2000) comes from 3 great vintages and 2 Premiers Crus, is generally composed of 50% Chardonnay, and is aged in barrels for 4 years before marketing.

The same cuvee can be released after 8 to 9 years in late disgorgement version like cuvee n ° 737 DT (based on 2009) marketed at the end of 2017. In order not to impoverish the cuvée 700 series, it was decided to stop producing the cuvees Vintage  from the 2002 vintage (the latest).

A parceling started at the same time in 2002 aiming to produce certain cuvees of localities in the good years (and when these plots did not lack qualitatively in the production of the cuvée series 700). Now, 4 Lieu-dit also illustrate the house style: Dizy-Corne Bautray, Avize Champs Cain, Ay-Vauzelle Terme, and Dizy Terres Rouges. These 4 Lieu-dit being long aged (generally 90 months), the start of their marketing to the public took place at the end of 2011. In fact, the prices increased appreciably, but despite the success and the strong demand, the volumes produced them do not increase (around 270,000 Bt: yr). The house style is robust, intense and racy, and we can only recommend the cuvées of the house Jacquesson to lovers of great vinous Champagnes, and especially of high flavor...
