Explore Dhondt-Grellet 1er Cru Blanc de Blancs Les Terres Fines, an exceptional champagne from a family estate in Flavigny, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Founded in 1986 by Eric Dhondt and Edith Grellet, this 6-hectare vineyard, now run by Adrien and Alice Dhondt, is cultivated biodynamically, highlighting Premier Cru parcels.
This champagne is made from 100% Chardonnay, from nine parcels at Cuis, on a chalky, sandy terroir. Vinification combines 70% of the year's harvest and 30% of perpetual reserve wines (since 1986), fermented in barrels and aged 8 months on lees, with a minimum dosage of 2 g/l for brilliant freshness.
To the eye, its pale gold color sparkles with fine bubbles. On the nose, tasting notes reveal aromas of candied lemon, peach and brioche, with a floral touch. On the palate, it offers a creamy texture, lively acidity and a saline finish, marked by a chalky minerality. Perfect with oysters or an aperitif, this Les Terres Fines embodies the elegance and precision of the Dhondt-Grellet style.
