Discover Dhondt-Grellet 1er Cru Blanc de Blancs Les Terres Fines Extra Brut, an exceptional cuvée from Domaine Dhondt-Grellet, based in Flavigny, in the heart of the prestigious Côte des Blancs. Since 1986, this family-run business has been cultivating 6 hectares of biodynamic vines, mainly on Premier Cru and Grand Cru terroirs, to produce champagnes of remarkable purity.
This Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut is distinguished by a minimal dosage of 1 g/l, highlighting exceptional freshness and tension. Made from 100% Chardonnay from the Premier Cru terroir of Cuis, it combines 70% from recent harvests with 30% from perpetual reserve wines begun in 1986. Aged 8 months on fine lees in barrels, it gains in complexity and elegance.
To the eye, its pale gold color sparkles with fine bubbles. On the nose, aromas of preserved lemon, green apple, white flowers and a touch of brioche are revealed, supported by a chalky minerality. On the palate, it offers a silky texture, lively acidity and a saline finish, perfect for accompanying oysters, seafood or refined aperitifs. A champagne of rare finesse, ideal for connoisseurs.
