Immerse yourself in the excellence of Mouzon Leroux L'Ascendant Solera Grand Cru Extra Brut, a prestigious cuvée from Maison Mouzon-Leroux, based in Verzy, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. This family estate, certified biodynamic since 2008, cultivates 8 hectares of vines on an exceptional Grand Cru terroir, combining clay, limestone and flint for champagnes of rare finesse.
This Extra Brut champagne, with a minimum dosage of 1 g/l, embodies purity and elegance. The result of a solera begun in 2010, its blend is based on 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, combining 50% recent harvest (2017) and 50% reserve wines (2014-2016). Aged 40 months on lees, it gains in complexity and depth.
To the eye, its pale gold color reveals fine, persistent bubbles. On the nose, aromas of ripe pear, hazelnut, candied lemon and a hint of brioche mingle with chalky minerality. On the palate, it offers a creamy texture, lively freshness and a long, elegant, saline finish. Perfect for a refined aperitif or with seafood, this champagne seduces with its balance and sophistication.
