Discover Françoise Bedel Origin'Elle, an emblematic cuvée from the Françoise Bedel estate in Crouttes-sur-Marne, in the Marne Valley. Since 1979, this family-run business has cultivated 8.4 hectares biodynamically, sublimating a clay-limestone terroir to produce champagnes of rare purity and expressiveness.
This Extra Brut champagne is distinguished by a light dosage of 1.6 g/l, revealing authentic freshness and finesse. The blend is dominated by Pinot Meunier (70%) for roundness, complemented by 20% Chardonnay for elegance and 10% Pinot Noir for structure. Vinified in enamelled vats and aged on lees, it develops remarkable complexity.
To the eye, its golden yellow color with orange reflections seduces with its fine bubbles. On the nose, rich aromas of ripe candied fruit such as pear and citrus mingle with hints of walnut and toasted almonds. On the palate, the attack is fresh and powerful, offering a vinous texture and hints of rancio, with a balanced, persistent finish. Perfect as an aperitif or with seafood, this champagne embodies the elegance and biodynamic soul of Françoise Bedel.
