Château Montrose is located in Saint-Estèphe, in the Médoc, north of Bordeaux. It is part of the 1855 Classification of the Médoc, classified as a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé. The estate benefits from an exceptional terroir composed of gravel and clay soils, on the banks of the Gironde, which gives its wines a powerful and mineral personality characteristic of the Saint-Estèphe appellation.
