All the Côte de Nuits Grands Crus in Burgundy
Burgundy's Côte de Nuits is home to 24 prestigious Grands Crus, mainly red wines made from Pinot Noir grapes. Gevrey-Chambertin boasts nine renowned Grands Crus: Chambertin, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze, Charmes-Chambertin (including Mazoyères), Mazis-Chambertin, Latricières-Chambertin, Ruchottes-Chambertin, Griotte-Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin. Morey-Saint-Denis offers five Grands Crus: Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis, Clos des Lambrays, Clos de Tart (monopoly) and Bonnes-Mares (shared with Chambolle-Musigny). Chambolle-Musigny shines with two Grands Crus: Musigny (including white) and Bonnes-Mares. Clos de Vougeot is the only Grand Cru of Vougeot. Flagey-Echezeaux is home to Echezeaux and Grands Echezeaux. Vosne-Romanée excels with six Grands Crus: Romanée-Conti (monopole), La Tâche (monopole), Richebourg, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, La Romanée (monopole) and La Grande Rue. These Grands Crus represent around 1% of the Côte de Nuits vineyards, or 300 hectares.
