What is the difference between the Louis Roederer Champagne Collection cuvée and a classic non-vintage brut champagne?
Unlike most entry-level cuvées from the great houses, Louis Roederer decided to create a multi-vintage cuvée that would be different each year. Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon created the Collection cuvée for this purpose from 2017 onwards, brought to market in 2021, thus permanently replacing the former Brut Premier cuvée. Each edition bears the imprint of a specific harvest, enriched with reserve wines from several previous vintages, for a renewed aromatic profile and a more assertive expression of terroir.
