Edmond Vatan, born in 1929, reigned for more than sixty years over the estate before illness forced him to slow down in 2007. His daughter Anne, a brilliant archaeologist trained at the École du Louvre, took over the winemaking in 2008. Edmond passed away in January 2022, leaving behind a legacy of cult wines that Anne continues to produce today on her own.
