The Gérin La Champine Syrah 2022 is a cuvée crafted by Jean-Michel Gérin, a renowned winemaker from the Northern Rhône Valley. Based in Ampuis, at the heart of the Côte-Rôtie appellation, he is well known for his expertise in Syrah, the region’s flagship grape variety. With this wine, he offers a generous and approachable expression of Syrah, vinified under the IGP Collines Rhodaniennes designation.

Made from 100% Syrah, this wine comes from granite-rich soils, typical of the Northern Rhône terroirs.

In the glass, it displays a deep purple hue with violet reflections. The nose is intense and expressive, revealing aromas of ripe black fruits, violets, and white pepper, characteristic of Syrah. On the palate, the attack is smooth and fruit-driven, with a lively freshness and silky tannins.
