Nestled in Grusse in the Jura, this little-known estate combines artisanal expertise with unspoiled Jura terroir. Founded in 2011 by passionate Japanese winemaker Kenjiro Kagami, it is committed to exacting organic and natural viticulture.
- Terroir: rooted in the Jura’s Sud-Revermont, expressed through Chardonnay from vines tended without agricultural inputs.
- Winemaking: skin maceration and aging in old barrels for lively wines with no added sulfur.
Tasting notes for Domaine des Miroirs I Need the Sun 2018
Appearance—gold with copper highlights and a slight haze, reflecting the presence of the skins during maceration.
On the nose—aromas of dried white flowers, candied apricot and citrus zest, underscored by a saline touch and a hint of delicate oxidation.
On the palate—a silky, taut texture, driven by lively acidity and chalky minerality, extending into a long, saline finish.
Serve at 10°C in a medium-sized white wine glass to concentrate its aromas.
