On the nose – Aromas of Williams pear and acacia blossom unfurl in a honeyed flight, carried by a saline touch and a chalky minerality, like an echo of the underlying volcanic rocks.
On the palate – Ample and fleshy texture, balanced by lively acidity and a mineral tension that extends the finish into an umami persistence, both generous and precise.
Serve at 12 °C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to bring out its complexity.
