All wines from the Jurançon appellation
The Jurançon appellation, nestled in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques near Pau, is famous for its sweet and dry white wines, made from Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng grape varieties. Spanning approximately 1,000 hectares across 25 communes, this AOC, recognized since 1936 (sweet) and 1975 (dry), benefits from clay-limestone terroir and an oceanic-mountain climate, ideal for late harvests. Jurançon wines, with aromas of exotic fruits, honey and spices, offer a perfect balance between freshness and richness. With an annual production of approximately 40,000 hectoliters (60% sweet, 40% dry), Jurançon captivates lovers of exceptional white wines.
