Wines from Domaine d'Eugénie: buy at the best price

Located in the village of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine d'Eugénie spans 6.5 hectares. It has been the property of François Pinault since 2006 and was renamed on that occasion. No chemical herbicides are used and Domaine d'Eugénie is partly managed using biodynamic farming. Ultimately, the entire vineyard should be converted to this approach. Since 2007, Clos de Vougeot has incorporated a portion of whole-cluster harvesting. The estate uses 40% new barrels for village wines, 50% for premier cru and 70% for grand cru. The latter include an Échézeaux, a Grand Échézeaux and of course the Clos de Vougeot. It has only one premier cru, but a supremely prestigious one: the Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées. The two other plots are Vosne-Romanée village wines, including the aptly named Clos d'Eugénie.
