Online Wine Sales Websites: Vins et Millésimes in the Top Rankings of the RVF
Buying wine online is a rapidly growing practice, and a multitude of sellers are emerging. Faced with such a large number, it can sometimes be difficult for lovers of fine wines and great deals to find their way. That is why, every year, the Revue des Vins de France publishes a ranking of the best online wine merchants. And this year again, Vins et Millésimes appears in the top rankings with a score of 16.5/20! An evaluation based on the overall ergonomics of the sales website, the quality of the wines offered, the reliability of delivering orders within a short timeframe, and the overall quality of customer service.
In its article published online on 23 December 2016, the magazine scrutinizes several wine merchants, with the objective of purchasing old vintages on the internet. While online wine sales are becoming more accessible, purchasing grands crus and rare vintages on the internet is not always straightforward. Indeed, these prestigious goods are generally not widely available on the market. It is with this in mind that the Revue des Vins de France set out to conduct the investigation.
