June 25, 2014 - The Dionysos EDHEC association distinguished itself at Château Lafite Rothschild during the final phase of the Left Bank Bordeaux Cup, thus becoming the world tasting champion of the grandes écoles.

An international wine competition for students

The Left Bank Bordeaux Cup, created in 2002, is a tasting competition for wine clubs of Universities and Grandes Écoles.

This event, which has become essential in the student wine-loving community, once again brought together high-quality competitors from École Centrale, EMlyon, ENA, ENGREF, ENS, ESCP-EAP, ESSEC, HEC, INA, École des Mines, Polytechnique, Sciences-Po, Université de Paris Dauphine, Oxford, Yale and Cambridge and many others.

The tests are conducted in the form of multiple-choice questionnaires, presentations and blind tasting tests which distinguish the competitors.

The competition takes place in two phases: a selection phase (France, Europe, United States, Asia) and a final phase at Château Lafite Rothschild.

A fine reward to illustrate the commitment of students who are dedicated to introducing their "colleagues" to a new way of seeing wine.
