OUR TASTING REPORT « Côte-Rôtie, Cornas and Condrieu»: discover the tasting report by Didier Frayssou from our Oenoschool tasting of February 28, 2017 and enjoy our opinion on 8 different great wines!
The color is slightly evolved. A nose of dried apricots, mushrooms and undergrowth. The palate is relatively balanced, fruity, with no bitterness on the finish.
A golden color with green highlights. A nose of apricots and violet. The palate is rich and very persistent, with notes of vine peach and apricot.
The color is matte and deep, the nose is smoky and peppery. The palate is round and acidic, the tannins are still present but balanced by a fine substance. The whole remains very fresh, in the spirit of the vintage, but without greenness.
The color is bright and purple with medium intensity. The nose is discreet (spices, cocoa, black fruits) and the palate is medium-bodied but balanced and easy to drink.
An evolved color of medium intensity and a rather sunny and evolved nose (cooked fruits and leather...). The palate is smooth but lacks a little complexity.
The color is of medium intensity and the nose is floral and spicy with notes of tobacco… On the palate, the wine is all about finesse, very long with melted tannins.
An evolved and cloudy color, meaty, lardony, floral nose. The palate is concentrated but the acidity is present and the tannins are not yet melted…
Deep purple color. The nose is complex (smoky, oaky, with notes of black fruits, tobacco and rubber...). The palate is fruity, concentrated, with silky tannins and a beautiful persistence. A perfect balance and a wine that drinks very well already today.
