A Château Ducru-Beaucaillou from great vintages has an exceptional ageing potential, easily exceeding 30 to 40 years under good storage conditions. Vintages such as 1996, 2000 or 2005 are still far from their peak and will continue to develop in a cellar maintained at 12-14°C, with constant humidity and away from light and vibrations. More modest vintages generally reveal themselves between 10 and 20 years after the harvest, already offering a beautiful aromatic complexity.
