Yes, the environmental commitment of Domaine Richard Leroy is total and long-standing. The vineyard has been farmed organically from the very beginning, then certified in 2002, and harvests are done by hand. Richard Leroy subsequently adopted biodynamics, an approach that goes beyond the organic specifications alone by integrating natural and lunar rhythms into the work of the vine. The amount of sulphur was progressively reduced vintage after vintage, until a vinification carried out with no or very little sulphur depending on the year.
