The Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé can trace its history back more than 550 years, to 1450 and the Chambolle vineyards belonging to a certain Jean Moisson. Passed down from generation to generation, the estate is today run by the 20th generation of the same family: Claire de Causans and Marie de Ladoucette, granddaughters of the late Comte Georges de Vogüé. It is one of the oldest wine estates in all of Burgundy.
