OUR TASTING REPORT "Côte-Rôtie, Cornas and Condrieu": discover Didier Frayssou's report from our Oenoschool tasting on February 28, 2017, and benefit from our opinion on 8 different great wines!
The robe is slightly evolved. A nose of dried apricots, mushrooms and undergrowth. The palate is relatively balanced, fruity, without bitterness in the finish.
A golden robe with green reflections. A nose of apricots and violet. The palate is rich, very persistent with notes of vineyard peach and apricot.
The robe is matte and deep, the nose is smoky and peppery. The palate is round and acidic, the tannins are still present but balanced by beautiful substance. The whole remains very fresh, in the spirit of the vintage, but without greenness.
The robe is brilliant and purple with medium intensity. The nose is discreet (spices, cocoa, black fruits) and the palate is medium-bodied but balanced and easy to drink.
An evolved robe of medium intensity and a rather sunny and evolved nose (on cooked fruits and leather...). The palate is melted but lacks a bit of complexity.
The robe is of medium intensity and the nose is floral and spicy with notes of tobacco… On the palate, the wine is all finesse, very long with melted tannins.
Evolved and cloudy robe, meaty nose, larded, floral. The palate is concentrated but the acidity is present and the tannins are not yet melted…
Purple and dense robe. The nose is complex (smoky, woody, with notes of black fruits, tobacco and rubber...). The palate is fruity, concentrated, with silky tannins and beautiful persistence. A perfect balance and a wine that reveals itself very well from today.
