Vins & Millésimes on the podium at the latest Master's Europe!
Didier Frayssou, head of purchasing and managing director of the company, swept the board at the latest Master's Europe wine tasting organized by the RVF (Revue des Vins de France). The overall winner of the day, though he came very close to missing out — a regular at these championships, it was only on the 12ème wine tasted that he clinched the final against Walter Labouyrie.
A truly beautiful competition set against the magnificent backdrop of Maison Devaux in Bar-sur-Seine, during which the 31 competitors blind-tasted 7 wines (including 3 wines from around the world) before facing off in a direct elimination round on the final 5. Next stop: Bergerac on 17 September for the Coupe de France… Wines tasted:
