The estate works according to a traditional cultivation technique with regular ploughing, without insecticides, using sexual confusion across the entire vineyard, and relying solely on organic amendments. Francis Egly also introduced horse ploughing upon his arrival to avoid compacting the soil, a rare practice that reflects a deep respect for soil life.
