The estate is located in the commune of Ayse, in Haute-Savoie, at the heart of the Arve valley, halfway between Geneva and Chamonix, on steep hillsides with full south-facing exposure at 450 metres above sea level. The geological diversity here is remarkable: red clays rich in alumina and iron are found on the emblematic plot "Le Feu", argilo-calcareous strata underlie the cuvée "Grandes Jorasses", and calcareous scree from the Chablais massif characterises "Les Alpes". It is this mosaic of soils that gives the wines of Domaine Belluard their characteristic minerality.
