Léoville Barton 2005 ****(*)

A minimally evolved color. A nose of black fruits, vanilla, smoke and slightly meaty notes. The palate is full-bodied: the tannins are silky and well-integrated. A very beautiful wine that is very approachable today.

Château Poujeaux 2005 ***

The nose is closed. The palate is concentrated but strict, with black fruits and pronounced tannins.

Domaine Alliet Chinon Vieilles Vignes 2005 ***(*)

The color is matte and slightly evolved. A complex nose of licorice, blackcurrant and undergrowth. On tasting, the wine is not yet in place: it is acidic, solar, with still pronounced tannins. It will need a little time to gain harmony.

Trévallon 2005 ****(*)

The ruby color is slightly evolved. The nose is characteristic of the estate's wines: notes of olive, resin and licorice. The palate is very inviting, fruity and persistent with melted tannins.

Tour Blanche Sauternes 2005 ****

A nose of apricot and mandarin. The palate is rich but with menthol notes that bring freshness. The finish is long with a slight bitterness.

Coulée de Serrant 2005 ****(*)

A gold/old gold color and a nose with complex aromas: petrol, candied citrus, figs, pears, dried fruits. On tasting, the wine is long, carried by a sharp acidity and a beautiful salivating finish. A beautiful Coulée de Serrant that "reveals itself" without prior decanting.

Bruno Clair Gevrey Chambertin 2005 ***

The nose is relatively closed (raspberry, cocoa). The palate is quite strict, marked by a beautiful freshness and still present tannins. The aromatic complexity is limited.

Domaine Theulot Mercurey 1er cru Champs Martins 2005 **

A coppery color. A nose of stewed fruits, leather and undergrowth. The palate is evolved (game, leather) but pleasant. It should be enjoyed without delay.
