Wines from the Bernard Gripa estate: purchase at the best price
Fabrice succeeded Bernard Gripa and carries on his father's work. His estate of 14 hectares is equally divided between reds and whites. The latter number four: two Saint-Péray and two Saint-Joseph. Les Figiers is composed of 60% roussanne and aged in barrels, while Les Pins is predominantly made from marsanne and vinified in tank. This specificity allows the latter to be very quickly approachable. The Saint-Joseph Les Berceaux is a wine for aging that expresses itself magnificently after ten years in the bottle. The red wines of this same appellation are of a classic style. The cuvée Le Berceau rouge develops, as it ages, aromas of truffle and graphite that underscore an often very long finish.
