The estate is rooted in a long Chablis family tradition. The history of Domaine Vincent Dauvissat begins in 1931, when Robert Dauvissat, Vincent's grandfather, decided to bottle his own wines — a practice that was innovative at the time in Chablis. Vincent joined his father in the late 1970s and took over the estate in 1989. Since 2013, his children Ghislain and Étiennette have been carrying on this legacy, ensuring the continuity of this exceptional house across four generations.
