All wines from the Corton Charlemagne appellation in Burgundy
Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru is an exceptional white wine produced in Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, from the Chardonnay grape. Spanning approximately 59 hectares, this prestigious vineyard covers the communes of Aloxe-Corton, Ladoix-Serrigny, and Pernand-Vergelesses, on the Corton hill. Thanks to a southeast to southwest exposure and marly limestone terroir, this Grand Cru offers unique minerality and remarkable aromatic complexity, with notes of white fruits, citrus, honey, and hazelnut. Its area allows for an annual production of approximately 2,500 hectoliters, or 330,000 bottles, depending on the vintage. Renowned for its finesse and aging potential (10 to 20 years, or even longer), Corton Charlemagne stands as an essential reference among the great white wines of Burgundy.
