All Côte de Beaune Grands Crus in Burgundy
The Grands Crus de la Côte de Beaune, located in Burgundy, are among the world's most prestigious wines, including Chardonnay-based whites and some exceptional Pinot Noir reds. These vineyards cover around 150 hectares, a small area compared with the 550 hectares of the Côte de Nuits Grands Crus. Spread over renowned communes such as Aloxe-Corton, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault, they include such famous appellations as Corton, Corton-Charlemagne, Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet and Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet. Thanks to limestone and marl soils, combined with ideal southeast exposure, these terroirs produce rich, complex wines with exceptional ageing potential. With only 8 of Burgundy's 33 Grands Crus in Côte de Beaune, they represent around 1% of the region's production, a testament to their rarity and excellence.
