Vineyard management has been rethought along sustainable farming principles. Yields are low (30 to 40 hl/hectare) and harvesting is done by hand. The entire estate is certified organic. Fermentation is carried out using indigenous yeasts, and certain cuvées such as the Côme Autrefois Le Mourvèdre are made without added sulphur. The style of the wines is fairly oaky and sometimes marked by a Bordeaux influence. With 35,000 bottles per year, Domaine Scamandre Renouard demonstrates its ability to produce high-quality wines that can rival the greatest. There are several range levels: Scamandre Grande Réserve in white and red; Scamandre in the Costières de Nîmes appellation is a blend of Carignan and Syrah, with a wild nose and a palate that is both powerful and lively, with good acidity and a spiced finish; Côme Autrefois in pure Carignan and pure Mourvèdre; and excellent value-for-money cuvées are also produced under the Les Terrasses d'Hortense range in red, rosé, and white. It is worth noting that Domaine Scamandre offers older vintages for sale, such as Scamandre 2009 and Scamandre 2012, which demonstrate the estate's ageing potential.
