All wines from Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru in Burgundy
Located exclusively in Chassagne-Montrachet and covering only 1.57 hectares, the Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru is among the smallest of the Grands Crus, producing approximately 9,000 to 10,000 bottles per year. Nestled at an altitude of 240 to 250 meters, its unique terroir, composed of brown limestone and clay soils from the Jurassic period (175 million years ago), offers ideal southeast exposure. Made from the Chardonnay grape, this white Grand Cru wine captivates with its finesse, balance, and rich aromas of dried fruits, white flowers, spices, and mineral notes.
