The Belluard estate, nestled in Ayse in Haute-Savoie, is led by Dominique Belluard, a visionary winemaker who took over the family reins in 1988 to champion the rare Gringet grape. Spanning 10 hectares under biodynamic practices, this estate excels in crafting pure wines within the Vin de Savoie appellation. The Les Perles du Mont Blanc 2018 Blanc cuvée is a still white wine made entirely from Gringet, vinified in stainless steel tanks with spontaneous fermentation and no added sulphur for this vintage.
On tasting, this wine displays a shimmering pale yellow hue and a fresh nose of pear, white flowers, and wet stone, with a lemony hint.
