Rocalhan 2001 Hautes Terres de Comberousse ** The color is evolved. A nose of candied apricots and overripe apples with slightly oxidative notes. A lovely fruity palate with good acidity but a hint of alcohol and bitterness.

Mas Mortiès Pic Saint loup 2001 ** Opaque, slightly evolved color and a nose of cooked fruits. The palate is warm: an almost sweet and jammy finish with tannins that are still present.

Domaine de l'Aiguelière Cote Rousse 2001 ***(*) The color is of medium intensity and evolved. A floral, spicy nose with black fruits. The mouthfeel is very silky and creamy, with aromas of sweet spices and tobacco. A very lovely wine.

Domaine D'Aupilhac 2001 **** Color of medium intensity, slightly hazy and matte. The nose is very complex: animal, floral, sweet, forest fruits… The palate offers a very beautiful complexity with well-controlled alcohol and a very long finish on notes of black fruits and graphite.

Domaine Canet Valette Saint Chinian Maghani 2001 ***(*) An opaque and slightly evolved color. A closed nose with some notes of chocolate and black fruits. The wine reveals a lovely freshness but is still somewhat reserved. Firm tannins and a beautiful aromatic persistence.

Mas Jullien Etats d'Ames 2006 *** A barely evolved color and a nose of black fruits and pepper. The palate is discreet, medium-bodied, yet very fine and elegant as expected from this estate.

Domaine Gauby Muntada 2002*** The color is evolved with medium intensity. The nose is evolved and animal in character, opening up nicely with aeration (morello cherry, forest fruits). The wine is very approachable, the alcohol is well-integrated and it gains in "flesh" with aeration to balance the tannins that are still present.

Daumas Gassac 1986 ***(*) Evolved color of low intensity. The nose is complex with smoky notes, forest fruits and floral aromas, cedar, mushrooms, undergrowth. On the palate, the wine has a fresh profile (acidity and tannins still firm) but finds its balance with aeration, even if it will always lack a little fruit to balance the dry tannins.
