The winemaking philosophy at Château Trotanoy rests on a scrupulous respect for the terroir and a traditional approach. Fermentations take place in cement vats and the young wine is then aged in oak barrels, half of which are renewed each year. In the vineyard, viticulture is conducted with meticulous care: regular ploughing, green harvesting, leaf removal, and harvesting ideally carried out over two or three afternoons to guarantee optimal and uniform ripeness.
