What is the difference between the Domaine Jean-Louis Chave and the J.L. Chave Sélection range?
Domaine Jean-Louis Chave refers to the family estate producing the great red and white Hermitage wines from their own plots. The J.L. Chave Sélection range, launched in the 1990s, constitutes a négociant line allowing enthusiasts to discover the Chave universe at more accessible prices. It includes notably the "Mon Cœur" in Côtes-du-Rhône, sourced from selected plots in Vinsobres, Visan, Buisson and Estargues, as well as the "Silène" in Crozes-Hermitage. Even across these entry-level cuvées, the exacting quality standards intrinsic to the Chave family remain fully intact.
