In 1998, François Parent combined his vineyard with Anne Françoise Gros’s. Together they now farm 10 hectares of vines. They live in Pommard, but their cellars, winery and production facilities are in Beaune. Winemaking is the same for all appellations. The differences arise during cellar aging, with varying proportions of new barrels depending on the cuvée. The grands crus are aged entirely in new barrels, while the village wines and premiers crus receive 40 to 60% new barrels, depending on the vintage. Beyond the grands crus Echézeaux and Richebourg, the estate has noteworthy premiers crus such as Pommard Les Arvelets and Pézerolles, as well as Savigny Clos des Guettes and Beaune Les Boucherottes. Some village wines are also worth exploring, including Vosne-Romanée Aux Réas, located next to the Clos of the same name.
