The Vincent Paris estate is located in Cornas in the Rhône Valley and was established in 1997 by Vincent Paris. Now covering 8 ha of vines (6 ha under AOC Cornas; 1.5 ha under AOC Saint Joseph and 0.5 ha under Vin de France), Vincent Paris nevertheless started out in 1997 with just a single hectare, but he quickly planted vines in Cornas and St Joseph, and was able to acquire in 2007 a superb plot of Cornas la Geynale.

It must be acknowledged that the size of the Cornas AOC was once reduced to 65 Ha, whereas it now comprises nearly 150 Ha under cultivation. All of Vincent Paris's vines are grown using sustainable farming practices, without insecticides or chemical fertilizers, and treatments are limited to the strict minimum. Herbicide may still occasionally be necessary on very steep slopes that are difficult to work, with the rest being mowed if the grass becomes problematic. Vincent Paris does everything possible to harvest the highest quality grapes, such as practicing severe pruning, manual leaf removal around the grape clusters, and even green harvesting. The quality of the different cuvées shows this, and while the St Joseph Les Côtes, which comes from vines located on the heights of Sarras 30 km north of Cornas, is charming, full of fruit, and rather to be drunk within 3 to 5 years, the 3 other red cuvées from Cornas are much more structured. Vincent Paris's Cornas Granit 30 has a very deep red color and presents notes of black fruits and spices on the nose, a structured but fruity palate, peppery and spicy, with coated tannins and beautiful length. It should be enjoyed with red meats. Cornas Granit 60 (60 corresponding to the average age of the vines and the steepness of the slope of certain parcels) presents spicy notes and black fruit jam that delight the palate. It has great concentration, great length, with silky tannins (aging potential of 7 to 15 years). Cornas la Geynale comes from century-old vines facing due south, from the best parcels of a hillside that particularly stands out in the Reynard quarter. Everything is therefore combined to produce an exceptional wine, a wine with a unique character, of great complexity, with a strong but silky tannic presence, powerful and suave aromas of well-ripened fruits, spices, and toasted aromas, accompanied by superlative length on the palate. In short, it can be awarded the palm for density and taste. However, patience will be needed before approaching it (at least 8 to 10 years, and it can be kept for more than 20 years). Regarding vintages, the best years for the Cornas appellation are as follows: 1985, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2005, 2011, 2015, and 2017.
