The Vincent Paris estate is located in Cornas in the Rhône Valley and was established in 1997 by Vincent Paris. Now covering 8 ha of vines (6 ha under AOC Cornas; 1.5 ha under AOC Saint Joseph and 0.5 ha under Vin de France), Vincent Paris nevertheless started out in 1997 with just a single hectare, but he quickly planted vines in Cornas and St Joseph, and was able to acquire in 2007 a superb plot of Cornas la Geynale.

It should be noted that the size of the Cornas AOC was at one point reduced to 65 hectares, whereas it now covers nearly 150 hectares under cultivation. All of Vincent Paris's vines are farmed using reasoned cultivation, without insecticides or chemical fertilizers, and treatments are kept to a strict minimum. Herbicide may still occasionally prove necessary on the steepest and most difficult slopes to work, while the rest is mowed if the grass becomes problematic. Vincent Paris does everything possible to harvest the highest quality grapes, such as practicing severe pruning, manual leaf removal around the clusters, and even green harvesting. The quality of the various cuvées reflects this, and while the St Joseph Les Côtes, which comes from vines located on the heights of Sarras 30 km north of Cornas, is charming and fruit-forward and best enjoyed within 3 to 5 years, the 3 other red cuvées from Cornas are considerably more full-bodied. The Cornas Granit 30 from Vincent Paris has a very deep red color, presenting aromas of black fruits and spices on the nose, a structured yet fruity palate with pepper and spice notes, enveloping tannins and a fine length. It is best enjoyed with red meats. The Cornas Granit 60 (60 referring to the average age of the vines and the gradient of certain plots) presents spiced notes and black fruit jam that flatter the palate. It is highly concentrated, with great length and silky tannins (cellaring potential of 7 to 15 years). The Cornas la Geynale comes from century-old vines with a full southern exposure, drawn from the finest plots of a hillside that stands out particularly in the Reynard quarter. All the conditions are therefore in place to produce an exceptional wine of unique character, with great complexity, a powerful yet silky tannic presence, powerful and suave aromas of well-ripened fruits, spices, and toasted notes, accompanied by a superlative length on the palate. In short, it can be awarded the prize for density and flavor. Patience will nonetheless be required before approaching it (a minimum of 8 to 10 years, and it can be cellared for more than 20 years). In terms of vintages, the best years for the Cornas appellation are as follows: 1985, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2005, 2011, 2015 and 2017.
