Tasting notes for Château Climens Climens 2006
In the glass: Golden robe with amber highlights, dense and luminous, revealing a rich texture and a crystalline brilliance.
On the nose: Aromas of candied pineapple, citrus marmalade and orange zest mingle with notes of acacia honey, beeswax and gingerbread, underlined by a saline touch and a hint of toasted vanilla.
On the palate: A rich and velvety attack, carried by a lively citrusy acidity that balances a moderate sweetness, while a chalky minerality and a long, saline finish leave an impression of purity and elegant tension.
