Diconne Meursault Les Narvaux 2022
Domaine Diconne is a family-run estate based in Auxey-Duresses, Burgundy, dedicated to producing authentic and expressive wines that respect the prestigious terroirs of the Côte de Beaune. For generations, the Diconne family has meticulously cultivated its vineyards, preserving the unique character of each plot through careful vineyard management and precise winemaking.
The Meursault Les Narvaux 2022 comes from a high-altitude parcel located just above the premier crus of the appellation. This terroir, composed of poor, well-drained clay-limestone soils, fosters the production of elegant wines with remarkable mineral tension. The 2022 vintage, shaped by a warm summer balanced by cool nights, allowed for optimal ripeness while maintaining a well-preserved acidity.
In the glass, it displays a pale gold hue with brilliant highlights. The nose reveals a complex bouquet of citrus, pear, and white flowers, supported by delicate buttery notes and a subtle hint of hazelnut. On the palate, the texture is rich and silky, with a vibrant freshness that carries the wine towards a long, chalky, and slightly saline finish.
This Meursault Les Narvaux 2022 pairs beautifully with shellfish, refined fish dishes in sauce, or a creamy mushroom risotto. A superb white Burgundy that combines finesse, depth, and pure mineral expression.
