The Diconne Meursault Les Narvaux 2023 is born on the limestone hillsides of Burgundy. This Chardonnay, aged in oak barrels, offers notes of peach, hazelnut and flint. The palate is lively, silky and mineral. Perfect with grilled fish or pressed-curd cheeses.
A family estate rooted in Auxey-Duresses, where Burgundian tradition is passed down with precision. Two generations cultivate an intimate connection with the terroirs of the Côte de Beaune, combining respect for the soil and artisanal expertise.
- Terroir : The vines of Meursault, planted on chalky clay-limestone soils, capture the characteristic minerality of the appellation, softened by an ideal exposure.
- Vinification : Patient ageing in oak barrels (15 months), where the Chardonnay develops in balance between freshness and complexity, without excess oak.
In the glass: a golden robe with green highlights, of a silky clarity, heralding an unctuous texture and mineral tension.
On the nose: aromas of white peach and juicy pear intertwine with notes of toasted hazelnut and acacia honey, lifted by a saline touch and a discreet flint smoke.
On the palate: a lively and precise attack, carried by an elegant acidity that underlines the chalky minerality; the finish, long and saline, leaves an impression of purity and persistent freshness.
Serve between 10 and 13°C, in a white Burgundy wine glass to release its aromas.
A vintage marked by balanced maturity, where the coolness of the nights preserved the natural acidity of the Chardonnay, while allowing a fruity and mineral expression.
- Ageing potential : To be kept 5 to 8 years in a cool cellar (12-14°C) and away from light, to allow its buttery nuances and complexity to fully develop.
