A hidden treasure in Burgundy
Domaine Diconne, located in Burgundy, is a true treasure for lovers of authentic and distinctive wines. With a three-generation winemaking tradition, it perfectly embodies the excellence of the Burgundian terroir.
Founded in the 1920s by Paul Diconne, Domaine Diconne is located in Auxey-Duresses, in the Côte de Beaune. Paul initiated this viticultural venture by working a vacant estate, which he gradually expanded with family plots. The tradition was continued by his son Jean-Pierre, who joined the operation in the 1970s with his wife Marie-Rose. Together, they contributed to the expansion of the estate, before passing management to their son Christophe in the early 2000s.
Today, Christophe Diconne farms approximately 10.5 hectares of vines spread across the prestigious appellations of Auxey-Duresses, Meursault and Pommard. His expertise and passion for respecting the terroir have allowed the estate to produce characterful wines, recognised for their typicity and quality.
Domaine Diconne spans several exceptional terroirs of the Côte de Beaune, notably in Auxey-Duresses, Meursault and Pommard. These appellations benefit from an ideal climate for viticulture, with predominantly limestone and clay-limestone soils, perfect for the development of grape varieties such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Christophe Diconne makes it a point of honour to cultivate his vines with respect for the soils and biodiversity. Integrated pest management, combined with manual harvesting, helps preserve the quality of the grapes as best as possible. Some of the estate's vines are a century old, rooted in a rich terroir that reflects the full diversity of Burgundy.
At Domaine Diconne, winemaking is carried out in a traditional and meticulous manner, with particular attention paid to each stage. The harvests are done by hand, and the grapes are carefully sorted in order to retain only the best for winemaking.
The red wines are fully destemmed, then aged in oak barrels for one year. New wood is used sparingly, at around 20%, so as not to mask the subtleties of the terroir. As for the white wines, they also benefit from barrel ageing for 12 months, followed by a period in tank to perfect their maturation. This process results in elegant and complex wines, combining structure, finesse and length on the palate.
Domaine Diconne offers a rich and varied range, reflecting the excellence of its terroirs:

Meursault "Les Narvaux"
Auxey-Duresses Premier Cru "Les Grands Champs"
