This Meursault Rouge 1998 from Domaine Coche-Dury, a Pinot Noir from clay-limestone terroirs, offers notes of strawberry and spices. Fresh and mineral on the palate, it combines elegance and structure thanks to its oak barrel ageing. Ideal with game or cheese, it is well worth keeping.

Nestled in the heart of Meursault, this family estate embodies the exacting standards and finesse of the great wines of Burgundy, where each cuvée reflects an exceptional terroir.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils and white marls of the Côte de Beaune, imparting a distinctive minerality and rare elegance to the wines.
- Vinification: A meticulous approach, aged in oak barrels for a pure expression of Pinot Noir, combining structure and silkiness.
Tasting notes for Domaine Coche-Dury Meursault Rouge 1998
To the eye: Garnet robe with tiled reflections, dense and luminous in texture, betraying a harmonious maturity.
On the nose: Aromas of wild strawberry, blackberry and black cherry, lifted by notes of liquorice, white pepper and a saline touch reminiscent of the chalky subsoils of Meursault.
On the palate: Silky attack, lively and precise acidity, melted yet present tannins, with a persistent minerality and a long finish, carried by nuances of tobacco and gentle spices.
Serve at 16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
