A fine wine from Château Angélus deserves particular attention when serving. It is recommended to serve it between 16 and 18°C in a large-bowled Bordeaux glass. For young vintages (less than 10 years old), decanting for 1 to 2 hours in a carafe is recommended in order to aerate the wine and release its complex aromas of dark fruits, cedar and spices. Older vintages, on the other hand, only need a brief decantation to preserve their notes of undergrowth and truffle developed with age.
