The winemaking philosophy of Clos Rougeard is based on minimal human intervention. The vines are cultivated using biodynamic methods, without herbicides or pesticides. Long aging periods, lasting from 18 to 30 months, produce red and white wines of great complexity. The grapes are harvested by hand, the wines undergo neither fining nor filtration, and the amount of sulfur used is minimal. This artisanal and patient approach has been at the heart of the estate's identity for several generations.
