The red wines of Château Talbot are crafted primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot and a few other Bordeaux grape varieties. They are distinguished by silky tannins, a beautiful depth of colour and aromas of dark fruits, cedar and gentle spices. Their ageing potential is remarkable: the greatest vintages can easily be cellared for 20 to 30 years, gradually opening up to reveal their full complexity.
