Château Le Puy, located in Saint-Cibard on Bordeaux’s right bank, is managed by the Amoreau family, who have upheld a winemaking tradition since 1610. Spanning 50 hectares under biodynamic practices, this estate shines in the Francs Côtes de Bordeaux appellation with its clay-limestone soils. The Emilien 2020 cuvée, a still red wine, blends 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, vinified in concrete vats without added sulphur and aged in old barrels for a pure expression.

On tasting, this wine reveals a deep ruby hue and an elegant nose of ripe cherry, plum, and graphite, with a floral hint. On the palate, it delivers a silky texture, fine tannins, and balanced acidity, finishing with notes of red fruit and saline minerality.
