Marcel Lapierre Beaujolais 2025, made from old Gamay vines on Lancié’s granite soils, is vinified without added sulfur. Cherry and violet notes, a fresh, mineral palate and a silky texture. Ideal with white meats or as an aperitif; enjoy now or keep for 2 to 5 years.
A family estate rooted in Morgon since 1909 and a pioneer of natural wines in Beaujolais.
- Terroir: Sandy granite soils in Lancié, on the edge of the Morgon appellation, where Gamay expresses its minerality and freshness.
- Winemaking: A natural method—semi-carbonic maceration, whole clusters and no added sulfur—for wines of vibrant purity.
Tasting notes for Domaine Marcel Lapierre Beaujolais 2025
Appearance – A cherry-red color with a silky texture, lively highlights and a slight granitic translucence.
Nose – Aromas of sour cherry, fresh violet and tart raspberry, followed by a saline, chalky touch reminiscent of Lancié’s soils.
Palate – A gentle, juicy opening supported by precise acidity and granitic minerality; the long, saline finish leaves an impression of elegant freshness.
Serve at 12–14°C in a medium-sized red wine glass to preserve its tension and vibrancy.
