Riesling Grand Cru Muenchberg 2023 from Domaine Ostertag, sourced from the sandstone and volcanic soils of Muenchberg. Vinified in stainless steel tanks, it reveals notes of citrus and saline minerality. The palate, taut and silky, lingers with elegance. Perfect with shellfish or fish from 2028.

- Terroir: The slopes of Grand Cru Muenchberg, where pink sandstone and volcanic sediments engage in dialogue to offer a unique minerality, the hallmark of Alsace wines.
- Winemaking: A natural approach – indigenous yeasts, gentle pressing and extended lees ageing – to reveal the soul of Riesling in all its purity.
To the eye: A pale golden robe, of crystalline clarity, where the light dances on silvery reflections, heralding a silky and vibrant texture.
On the nose: First notes of candied citrus – lime and pink grapefruit – followed by a touch of elderflower, then a mineral depth where flint and a subtle iodine salinity intertwine.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by taut acidity that stretches into a chalky minerality, before ending on a saline and mesmerizingly long finish, almost tactile.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a "Riesling"-style white wine glass to enhance its aromatic complexity.
