Tasting notes for Château Valandraud Valandraud Blanc 2020
To the eye – A golden robe with green highlights, of silky clarity and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose – Aromas of pink grapefruit and candied lemon zest, followed by a hint of crisp Golden apple, fresh almonds and a subtle chalky minerality, lifted by a saline touch.
On the palate – A full, velvety texture, carried by a lively and precise acidity, where notes of ripe citrus and linden blossom unfold, leading to a long, mineral finish of remarkable tension.
Serve between 16°C and 20°C in a Bordeaux-style white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
