Tasting notes for Château Angélus 2019
To the eye – A deep ruby robe with violet reflections, boasting a silky brilliance and chalky density.
On the nose – Aromas of wild cherry and fresh blackberry, lifted by notes of violet and licorice, with a saline and mineral undertone.
On the palate – Velvety and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and stony minerality, leading to a long, spiced and mentholated finish.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
